Which products work with the NKS format/free Kontakt Player, and which ones require the full Kontakt?
CineSamples has libraries that work in various Native Instruments programs. Check out the following articles for more information:

Libraries that are installed via Continuata Connect
I'm getting an error message that says "This instrument belongs to a library that is not installed." when trying to load a patch in Kontakt.
This error message occurs in Kontakt when a patch from a Kontakt Player library is loaded via the Files menu instead of from the Libraries tab. If a library is encoded by Native Instruments to work with the free Kontakt Player, then it sits in the Libraries tab and needs to be activated in Native Access to install the library into Kontakt, after downloading and extracting the content for the library to your system.
This usually occurs if you install via Continuata Connect, and haven't yet performed the final step to activate the library in Native Access and set the installation path. See this guide on how to verify your folder structure when setting the installation path.
If you install directly via Native Access, it will automatically add the library to the Kontakt sidebar during this installation process. You should see the library available in the sidebar to load into Kontakt, as well as in the Komplete Kontrol database. All libraries available for Native Access installation include NKS encoding.
Native Access isn't accepting my serial code, and I'm getting an error message when I try to register the product.
There could be a few different things going on here -- first, confirm that the product is encoded for Kontakt Player. If it is, double check the product serial code in your email, and verify that it matches what is in your My Products section on our website. Native Access accepts serial codes in a format of five 5-digit groupings of numbers and/or letters. Make sure the code you are entering is 25 characters long.
Certain products include upgrade or crossgrade coupons, or provide an alternative download code for our Continuata Connect system, as part of the order fulfillment. Make sure to only select the serial code itself when copying and pasting the code into Native Access.
If you are getting an error message that the serial code has already been registered, and you have previously activated the library on another computer, make sure you are using the same Native Instruments account on the new machine. If you are getting this error message with a new purchase, get in touch with our Support Team and we'll help you get sorted out.
My product is loading in Demo Mode, but I have the full Kontakt installed.
This could be one of two things -- if the library is encoded for the free Kontakt Player, it needs to be loaded via the Libraries tab, and loading them from the Files tab can result in a strange-looking interface that shows Demo Mode.
If a library is not encoded for the free Kontakt Player, it does not use a serial code for activation in Native Access. These libraries will only work in Demo Mode in the free Kontakt Player, but it is possible for both the full Kontakt and free Player to exist on the same system. You can verify this in the upper left hand corner of the software instrument plugin -- it will say Kontakt Player or simply Kontakt to indicate the free or full version, respectively.
Do I have to update after installing?
When you install via Native Access or Continuata, you will automatically download the latest version of the library. There is no need to install additional update files. We do have some libraries that have legacy versions, paid upgrades, and other special cases -- see this guide for more info.
Can I delete the .rar files after I install the library?
Yes, after you have a library installed and working in Kontakt you can safely delete the original download .rar files from your system in order to save space. Continuata Connect will prompt you to delete the files, and Native Access will delete them automatically upon installation.
The .rar files take up about the same amount of space as the library itself, so it is highly recommended to delete these files after installation. If you want to verify your folder structure before deleting anything, check out this guide for more details.
