Another download method is to use our Continuata Connect installer. Paste your download code into the Connect app and it will automatically download and extract the latest version of the library for you.
When launching the app on Mac, locate it in the Finder window and right/ctrl-click it and select Open, rather than simply double-clicking or launching via the Spotlight search. This method of launching the app is the equivalent to "Run As Administrator" on Windows, and bypasses some internal security functions of macOS that can interfere with Connect (and other apps not downloaded from the Mac App Store).
On Windows, it is recommended to launch the app using Run As Administrator.
If a library has a serial code for activation in Native Access, click Add A Serial in Native Access to register the product to your Native Instruments account. Next, set the content installation path for the library. See this guide for more details on making sure you have the correct folder structure.
Upon a successful installation via Continuata and activation in Native Access, you will see the library appear in the sidebar of Kontakt the next time you launch it.
Some of our products do not work with the free Kontakt Player, and do not use serial codes for activation in Native Access. Continuata Connect is a handy way of downloading and extracting these files to your system so you can browse and load the patches.
If a library is not encoded for the free Kontakt Player, it does not sit in the Libraries tab. You can browse the patches using the Files tab, or set up the Quick Load Menu in Kontakt to have fast access to your favorite patches from any source.
