Tina Guo

The full Artist Series: Tina Guo library contains patches for the Acoustic Cello, Electric Cello and Er Hu. This library works with the free Kontakt Player, and includes the Acoustic Cello Legato patch. This patch was updated in Spring of 2020 to support the new Infinite Bow feature, which allows for sustained notes to hold without being disrupted by a re-bowing. The composer can re-articulate the same note to perform a beautiful, natural-sounding bow change and keep sustained notes in time with your composition.

This library captured a very emotional and expressive playing style for the Acoustic Cello. There are also various sound design patches, loops, FX, and phrase builder options for the Electric Cello, Er Hu and Acoustic Cello as well.

Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato

The separate Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato patch was re-encoded by Native Instruments for NKS integration, to work with the Komplete Kontrol plugin in addition to Kontakt Player. Only this separate patch from the Artist Series: Tina Guo collection now supports NKS encoding. If you have the Tina Guo Legato (Legacy) product, your version will still have the Infinite Bow functionality available.

Tina Guo Vol 2

The Tina Guo Vol 2 expansion library was created as a contrasting follow-up to the deeply expressive Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato. This expansion library was recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage, and provides a more cinematic sound, with a faster legato option, less vibrato, and a collection of other articulations such as short notes, pizzicato, and even some granular synth sound design FX based on the acoustic cello.
